Northern Alberta proves that Canada’s poker venues remain strong as you venture further into the country. Online play is totally legal here, but many put down their mice to attend major local live poker tournaments. More than $500,000 in prize money is typically on offer at both the Western Canadian Poker Classic and Klondike Classic staged at Casino Edmonton and Casino Yellowhead, respectively.
