In a tournament, a bounty can be placed on various players (even everyone), and whoever knocks them out of the tournament gets a prize (usually cash or a gift). Most of the time, in a Bounty Tournament, a specified amount of money is part of the entry fee that will go toward "bounties". In that case, everyone will have a bounty on their head. So, if you were lucky to knock out 5 players you would receive the dollar value of their bounty. (I.e., if the amount of money to the bounty was $25, you would receive $125 if you knocked out 5 players, and that is in addition to any other prize money you might receive). Sometimes as a promotion, a cardroom will put a bounty on various dignitaries that might be playing in a tournament (or even cash games and then there's usually one bounty at each table).
@oldjoe Pineapple is a kind of poker game. It's the same thing as Texas Holdem, but you get dealt 3 cards and discard 1 to choose the 2 that you want to play in the hand. In regular Pineapple, you discard before the flop, and in Crazy Pineapple you discard after the flop.....and then it plays the exact same as Holdem.
