Landed in Vegas Wednesday 10-14 and stayed to Sunday 10-18 and play mostly 1-2 and 2-5 no limit with two tourneys at harrahs poker room.
I started my poker trip by playing at harrahs Wednesday and sat down at a 1-2 table and wasnt seeing many cards stole a few pots. The room is old and not too much going on around you so got bored quick.Headed to Caesars around 11pm sat with a fun table had a few drinks/ shots and played 1-2. Not too much raising so I felt a bit like the table bully. I worked up to about 700 in chips in about 2 hours then got QJ spades raised to 12 got two callers and flop comes AK spades and 9 spades I got the nuts. I check my nuts. I knuckle head makes it 40 other idiot calls and I raise to 75 Raiser folds Other guy goes all in I call 350 more. He flips over 9 9 and im like ok here we go again. Turn is a 5 so now just the river right? Yea and its a 5 He now has 9s full and im like ok thats a suck out runner runner. So I play a few more pots and call it a night cashing out my initial 300.
THURSDAY played at harrahs tournament 11am and couldn't believe how fast the blinds went up. Played more thursday night nothing crazy.
FRIDAY played at belligio wasn't too impressed with the room. cocktails were slow and room was boring I thought. I must say that I am use to the rooms in atlantic city and they are much nicer then the rooms in vegas. Nothing wild here either action was slow.
SATURDAY played 2-5 at the venetian and then back to harahrs for some 1-2. Cards were quiet and boring. played in four days around 30 hours of solid poker and won 145 dollars in poker.
This is my second trip to Vegas and I realized in this trip that if im going to have some long poker sessions then I would rather play in Atlantic City at the borgata or show boat.
