Starting off, I feel that I am an average poker player with a simple budget. Play in some $100. tournaments and 4/8 limit or 2/5 no limit.

I always like the Mirage poker room so thats where I was staying. If no tournament was going on I would play the 4/8. Lots of tv's for me to watch in the poker room. As an online player sitting at a table playing is often an extreme test of staying awake. Mirage also has ongoing sit-and-go so there is always action. the drink service is quite good.

One day I went to Harrahs to play in the 11 AM tournament it was around $80 to get in. The set up was fine I didn't place but lasted 2 hours. I didn't like the poker room. Lack of drink service and TV's made it tough.

I also spent an afternoon at Caesars the poker room is nice but it was a long wait to get into a game that was more my stakes. I bought it to a 2/5 nolimit game for $500 which is usually the max at Mirage. By my mistake I failed to realize it was no max for the buy in so I was sitting at a table with some pretty large stacked players. I'm Not talking Pamela Anderson. This didn't go so well, So I went and played some 3/6 on tilt and got spanked. Overall I Had to wait then lost and didn't drink enough so I don't like Caesars.

Late that night my crew went to bed so I checked out the 2am tournament at Binions. I outlasted all the other walking zombies to finish 3rd at 5 am. The room is fine wasn't too busy at 2am.

The next day I actually went to check out the Bellagio. Got in right away at a 4/8 I felt a bit over my head, but weather its Bellagio or Plaza its still just people playing cards. I played 6 hours and won some. They bring many drinks here and good tasting ones at that. My bloody Marys actually had some flavor to them. I noticed 3 semi famous people in the room but couldn't place their names. "They couldn't place mine either"

The Next day plus was all spent at the Mirage, I guess its just the place I feel most comfortable. It also seems that its where all the super hot chicks like to play. Not really. I would like to find that place.

Going back in 5 weeks after I return all my Xmas gifts for more cash. Good luck All! Kelly
