EA12-Trendy Casinos
Your heros start their adventure at the Rio at 10 pm. We get into a 1-3 no-limit game. All through the poker room there is WSOP peraphenalia.
We get it. You guys took this tradition away from the Binion's, and made it explode. Good job. I still don't understand why America needs to know who Phil Helmuth or Mike Matisoi is. (I know, crappy spelling.)
I won $95. The dealers are good but a little too chatty. On a side note, they will spread any game, I asked about Badugi.
We leave the Rio and get to the Palms. We get into a 1-3 nl game at 11:45pm. The palms is the new location of the Playboy Club. I don't go to the Club, instead I sit with a guy to pick football games and discuss should we tease 6 or 6 1/2 points. (Side note: I have made 11 pro football bets this season so far. I have won ZERO.) I end up losing $10 dollars.
I like playing at the Palms. Not for the action or the dealers. But for the eyecandy walking by the poker room.
We get to Planet Hollywood at around 1:30am. We play 1-2 no-limit hold-em. They have 3 games going. Photoc, noted AVPer, is dealing that night. I enjoy PH even though I lost $400. The games are good. The chairs suck. We go to the cafe and have a delicious lunch. We run into Megan, TI relief poker shift manager.(I recently became aware that the TI has a poker room. I look forward to going there!)
We leave the PH and go to the newest poker room in town, Hard Rock. They have 1 no-limit game going. Mike and I sit down at 4:30am and leave at 10:30 am. I lose $425. The dealers are good, the action was great. But most of all, the chairs are fantastic. At $13 million, I think we all knew this room would look fantastic. It does.
I enjoyed the EA. There were some good games. It lasted almost 13 hours. I lost over $700. I will go back to the Hard Rock and probably PH.
