Our adventure starts in the nitville of Harrahs poker room at 8pm. Mike has been playing for about 2 hours. I jump into the game. I break even. This is where we planned our trip. Mike is in his element. All the nits getting there hours, stealing water bottles, complaining about rake, etc.

We leave for Binion's. We are met by Sam and Brian. Sam's a dealer at the SouthPoint. Brian is his roommate. And binion's is the place that made poker famous. Mike has brought his Harrah's water bottle with him. What a nit.

The new room is cool. Old poker pictures on the wall. Lots of TV's. We sit down in a 1-2 game. I make $165. Its a nice room. Same old crowd. A lot of guys wearing casino "wear". You know Sam's Town jackets, Station's hats, Orlean's underwear, ect., ect.

So we leave the fashion capital of downtown and go to the Golden Nugget. Didn't get to play. Every table and every seat was taken.

We decide to leave downtown. Go to a hip younger place, the Hard Rock. We play for about 3 hours. I lose $55. I happened to notice that the crowd at the Hard Rock in no way resembles the crowd at Binion's (no Shit). We see young hip people drunk and on vacation. Young hot dealers. Beautiful cocktail waitresses. It would be hard to confuse this place with downtown.

During our session I suggest that LVM watch a documentary that is available on YouTube. Its "Kermits reaction to 2..". After pestering him 3 or 4 times he watches it and admits its funny but sick. I highly recommend it to all of you out there.

We leave the Hard Rock and head over to the TI. They have a new wheel. (See the professional picture of me and the wheel.) We sit in a 1-3 game. I proceed to lose $300. The crowd is mixed at the TI. Mostly tourists, with a few local regulars. The one customer that stands out is a woman from Arkansas who kept talking like that girl in "American Pie". I was ready for her to say: "And this one time at band camp..."

We leave the TI and walk to the Mirage. Mike and I sit in a 1-4 stud game. I break even. The reason I break even is that THEY WERE PRINTIN MONEY AT THE CRAPS TABLE!!!! I would turn pro in Craps except for my old football injury. The crowd at the table is me and Mike, two dealers & two people that only spoke Japanese.

I go to the Mirage not for poker but to see my ex: EVIL. She is just getting off work. So she hangs out with us. Mike plays the documentary for her. She laughs and is grossed out.

Around 4am we decide to end the Excellant Adventure and walk back to our cars at the TI. Mike and I both agree that it was a fun EA and we will start doing them again. I'm sorry it took 4 months for us to hit the grinding trail again. I promise you, the adoring fans that we will do a number of these in the upcoming months.
