Our adventure begins at 10pm at Sam's town. Mike and I jump into the only game going, 3-6 limit hold'em. We had a groupy along for the begining of the trip, SoCalVegasMK. He was unable to get into the game so he sweated us and smoked.

It was a typical Boulder strip crowd, nits who had their ARP cards. One of them was an angry guy who had just won a satellite seat for the WSOP main event. He was locked out of the main event because it was sold out. He was not fond of me after I said, "Everyone had 6 weeks to get into the WSOP. So too bad." I ended up winning $71.

After "charming" the Sam's town crowd, it was off to the Cannery East. The three of us sat and started a Razz/Budueci game. Heather, an exceptional dealer, dealt to us. It's tough to deal those games. I ended up losing $100. After the mix game it was time for lunch at midnight.

So me and SoCal drove straight to the Joker's wild. I have four bad beats at the Wild. The poker room was closed (1st bad beat) so we went to the crap's pit. We each buy $100 of chips. Then the dealer tells us that the table is closing in 5 minutes (2nd bad beat) so we won't get to roll. I say why and he says they don't have a grave staff. So I ask for our money back and he says no we have to go to the cage. (third bad beat).

LVMike makes it to the casino. He has picked up Yappy (groupy #2). After me and Socal cash out, the four of us go to the coffee shop and it is closed (4th bad beat). So after a lovely experience at the Joker's we leave for my Kryptonite, Boulder station.

Upon arriving at Boulder station we find the coffee shop was closed. But the buffet was open. It is a limited buffet and costs $4. We pay with our player's club cards and a 2 for 1 coupon. We are officially NITS. After lunch its off to the poker room.

We help to start a 1-2 nl hold'em game. I lost $90. Which brought my EA total to -$119.

I think that the take home message for this EA is that if your dining on the Strip, make reservations.
