My dad and I went on a trip to Vegas mostly for the side cash games during the wsop. We chose the dates June 13-17, flying in at night and leaving in the morning. We stayed at the Flamingo, with air fare & 4 nights w/ a shuttle to the airport only being $299 a person! We even got our rooms upgraded, by the casino giving our booked ones away to someone else, ha! I ended up with a suite on the 23rd floor, and my dad a 2 queen room on the 14th.

Day 1...
I had my eyes set on the 15-30 at bellagio, and my dad would play which ever the lowest limit was. The next morning I got to the poker room at 8:30am to get on the list, waited about 20min and had breakfast then got in the game. First big hand that went down... Im on button w/ 33, limped 4 to me and sb & bb call. Flop K37 two clubs bb bet 3 callers to me, I raise. Original bettor raises, I smooth call, along with one other. 3 way to turn of blank. Bet to me, I raise he calls, other folds. River 7clubs, bb check raises me, I 3 bet he calls and mucks. Nice first pot.. Up $750 for a 4 session. I then walked around the strip and came back around 10pm and quickly sat in another 15-30, no big hands. Up $415 in a couples hours.

Day 2...
I played 2 sessions of 15-30 morning and night about 4hrs each. I was extremely card dead, no big hand and ended the day down $120. Did more sight seeing through out the day checking out other poker rooms and such..

Day 3...
I had been watching the 30-60 and it looked really juicy. I decided to try and make a hit on the 30-60, it's out of my roll, but I was up for the trip and going home to a job, so ehh.. I got in a new table which was nice, up 600 right off the bat. Then I took like 5 unreal beats, I'll tell one.. I was utg with AA, raise, middle position reraises, and 3 cold calls to me, sb & bb fold, I reraise all call to flop of A106 rainbow. I bet, raise by reraiser, 2 callers to me, I smooth call. Turn Q, I check, raiser bets one caller, I raise both call. River J. Board A106QJ, middle position eyes lite up huge, I check, she bets I call just in case.. AK as you guessed. After about 4 more of those types of beats I'm down $1200 of my original buy in of $1600, leaving me with 400 ish. I took a break and got lunch, came back and played good ended the 6hr session up $55. I came back at 2:30am to play 30-60 again before I left the next morning. I had a huge rush of cards and with in 30min I was up $1800. Everything hit, playing solid, not donkin with bs like k3, hah!

So the trip ended good up around 3k, and my dad paid for his trip playing 4-8. Can't wait till next time...
