Had an interesting trip. I played a lot a the Excal and tried their morning tourney on Monday. Cashed third but take my advice and avoid this tourney. The blind and level structure is terrible.

Played the 11PM tourney at MGM on Tues. This is a great tourney with a nice blind and level structure and only a $60 buy in. I was the first to be knocked off the final table when my AK was taken down by A2 - sigh...

Next was the Wed 3:30 knockout tourney at Harrahs cashed out second.

The rest of the trip I was really card dead and when I had cards the flop was not kind. The highlight (lowlight??) of my cash games was on Thursday at the Excal when I was all in with a full house and found myself facing a club Royal Flush. Thank Poker Gods, thanks.

All in all it was a nice trip. I really like the MGM tourney and will play that one again.
