trip 8/27/09 to 9/1/09

I am a little late I know.
Flew out of indianapolis ind. arrived vegas
9:35am local time. Checked in Flamingo about
a hour wait in line. Did not try $20 upgrade
because i came to play poker not stare out of
window didn't spend much time in room.
I only been playing poker for 4 yrs. last year
was my first solo trip, my wife doesnot like
vegas so lets go by myself { I HAVE THE GREATEST
WIFE IN THE WORLD} I like to play tournament
games so started in Flamingo the tables are too close the players did not say a word other than
to bet. I like to have a good time when playing
nobody seemed to be having fun, got busted out about 15 out of 29. I have heard about O'sea's
tables on the sidewalk so went to check that out.
tables are that close. Poker room smallest I ever seen, they had a toury starting had 18
players didn,t cash but had more fun was like
playing back home with my buddy,s. I played 8 tournys there cashed 3 times for $979 total.
all luck . Played at Caesars Plalace 3 times
cashed 1 time for $192. Caesars room is real
nice lot of room for tables but no body said a word except to bet did not enjoy playing, the
players where definitely better card players.

Played at Bally's, TI and Bills but didnot cash. Had one bad experience
at O'hea's with a drunk that sat next to me. Sat
down drunk still doing shots loud and obnoxious
slowed play they should have kiked him out. Had
one good experience with a happy drunk he
couldn't see cards the dealer had to tell him
what they were. He told alot funny stories he did slow play but didnot seem to bother anyone.
Kinda like back home game. We got down to 3 players me and other guy wanted to chop but drunk did not, drunk
took 2nd I took 1st. Over all for trip I was down
$100 thats good for me.

He wished for a snappier come-back

I had a buddy and his wife go to vegas last
aug 09 he was at a slot machine his wife sat
about 3 machines away when a {LADY] sat down
next to him and asked him if he needed a date
for the nite he said no but she keep after him
telling him he would have a good time, he keep
tellig her no but she wouldnot leave, he said she was a little chubby so he said {IF I HAVE
TO BUY YOUR ASS BY THE POUND I PROBABLY CAN-NOT
AFFORD YOU] she said something not very lady like and left. His wife thought it was funny what he told her.

Can't wait to go back in 2010 I like to read
the trip reports keep them coming good luck
