First I have to say the after reading the reports here for a year they make a difference. If you're planning a trip do the research and read past reports, look over the schedules and payouts and map out your trip. I made changes based on some reports I read and glad I did.

Stayed at the MC. I have to say this may be my new home base. Great location, good rates and the poker room is fantastic. I like the rooms that have character and the staff know you. You'll get that here along with a nice mix of regulars and out of town action. Played 1/2 NL first 3 days and had a coule good runs $300+ only to see it get pissed away to donkey calls. My fault for not realizing I was with chasers to the river. Lost $250 in one pot when vilian chased with Kd7d to the river with only d on the flop. Caught his flush even with me throwing $50 raises he kept chasing...Oh well. They have a very good freeroll promo now. 30 hours gets you in 30K free roll each month. Easy to get 30 if your there for 4 days or more. I'll be back in Oct for the first one and post results and numbers after I play.

MGM: Same as always, great for catching fish if you're willing to wait it out and pick your spots. They love to come in from Cali and donk off money...LOL

CP: I played the 7pm each night. Never cashed but played well enough to get to top 20%. Just missed the coin tosses, thats how cards run sometimes. But this is a great structure and payout, About 80 to 100 players and the action is 50/50. Meaning 50% donks and 50% can play the game. So if your good find the donks to build your stack and win the coin tosses later.

Binions. Went once to check it out. Used to play there all the time 10 years ago. So this was more of a history trip for me. The action was average and I walked out up $110 after 3 hours of 1/2NL. Freemont sucks these days. What mess it has become over the last two years. It was a favorite spot for me and I was just pissed how bad it's getting down there. Mayor needs to get involved or we need SW to buy it back again and reenergize it and chase out the gangs and bums.
