Had a good weekend at the tables. Spent most of my time playing the 2-5 game at Bellagio cause that's where i was staying. I usually buy in for $300 and play tight aggressive, and then loosen up as my stack grows. I've been having winning sessions here about 80% of the time. I had 4 sessions this time with -100, +500, +200 and +300. Unfortunately I partied til 5am every night so I was tired most of the time at the tables. Overall Bellagio room is good, and the staff friendly. The drink service was unusually poor though. Also, the waiting list for 2-5 was horrendously slow moving, which annoyed me. There seems to be a good # of tourists playing the 2-5 game, and I ran into a couple of regular locals who were surprisingly terrible at poker, which was fine by me.

On Saturday I went over to Casear's to play in the $340 noon tourney. I overslept and didnt get there til 12:40 so was 3rd alternate. The game structure starts out good, 12,500 chips and 25-50 blinds so you can get some good play in. I quickly ran it to 20k, but then the blinds get up there quick and it becomes an all-in fest. Was able to double up with my 99 saw two more on the flop, vs KK, but then went card dead for over an hour and my KQ couldn't hit vs a 77 and I went out 30th of 110. Overall I was surprised how big the poker room was. Cash games there looked pretty bad though, but will definitely try that tourney again now that I know what the blind structure is like.
