Went to a wedding in Lake Tahoe with a group including my wife and mother in all who all enjoy playing in tournaments. After Lake Tahoe they went home and I went to Vegas..yippee...

Reno- Stayed at Harrahs one night. No tournament there that night. One table of nl seemed to be going there most of the time. Played in tournament at Circus Circus...around 7 p.m. They filled about 4 tables.

Lake Tahoe- Stayed at Montbleu and played mainly there also. No cash games going most of the time I was there. Afternoon tournament seemed to have a hard time drawing with about two tables usually making. The Wednesday night tournament with the House adding $200 to the pot had three-four tables. Cashed at that one as four of us chopped and that pretty much paid for my entries the rest of the trip. Harveys seemed to have a few cash games going. Tournaments seem to draw pretty well with my buddy telling me that the Tuesday night tournament drew about 6 tables and the morning tournaments max out at three tables. Register early for the morning tournaments as they fill up fast and drawing in as an alternate sucks....

Las Vegas- Played tournament at Stratosphere, Sahara and Sams Town. Played at the Stratosphere on Friday night and it seemed like a little nicer room than the Sahara. Think they filled 4 or five tables. Played Sahara Saturday night and they filled about 7 tables. Still like that they feed you at the break at the Sahara. Didn't care much for the Sams Town. Mainly because of the add on being more than the original buy in. Maybe because it was my turn to sit next to a jerk..or maybe because I caught my only truly sick bad beats there on back to back hands to get knocked out. Either way with so many tournaments in town I would probaly skip that one next time.
