I traveled to Las Vegas on Thanksgiving Day and arrived at the airport at about 8:00 am. After getting my bags, I caught a shuttle downtown and was ready to play some poker. My favorite game is the $40 sit n go at the Plaza. Over the next three days, I played about 10 sit n go's. The top two spots are paid ($240 for 1st and $90 for 2nd) The entry fee is $40 for 10 players. It's pretty slow in the morning. You have to sign a list and sometimes have to wait for 10 people to sign up. But later in the day, the wait time is shorter as the casino may have up to three game going. Out of my 10 sit n go's, I cashed in about half. Most players chop for $165 when it gets down to head up. But one guy would not chop with me casue he was the chip leader. That did not last long as I got the chip lead and took him out. I also played the 1:00 am tournament at the Golden Nugget for $65 buy in and $40 rebuy. My straignt got beat by a flush and I went out in 4th for a $298 pay out. The three players left immediately started talking about a chop after I go knocked out.
