The Bubble in hold em tourneys
I am constantly busting out with 10 to 20% of the field remaining.
What is the magic formula ? aggression is so highly rewarded after the break as many players hunker down, hang on and want to work into the money. i have done the same with poor starting hands, limping took much, then folding to raises. I'm saying with 30BB to 40BB stacks, you quickly whittle to 20BB.
it seems no matter what, if we have say 20BB sitting in BB position, you must call even a 3x raise? or even push
any thought's on strategy?
this scenario is always with a BB ante btw

Pick your spots based on the play around you. If there is a loose player with a lot of chips, play them in position to try to build off their stack. Be deliberate with your chips...aggressively reactive is not good. A great read for MTTs - Tournament Poker and the Art of War by David Apostolico
