I play poker in Black Hawk once a week. I think this is the friendliest room but I think there is not very much action. The Isle spreads a 1/1-100 spread limit holdem game which is typically a low limit limpfest although they do seem to spread 1/2 more lately which is better action. The best part of this room is that food service is easily accessible through comped meals such as pizza and hot dogs. As with all poker rooms in Black Hawk the bad beat jackpot is raked up to $2 per pot (plus house rake 10% up to $5). I would prefer to not have a bad beat jack pot at this casino although it is the easiest to beat in Black Hawk. If you are looking for ad beat promos, then the isle might be your place as they have three bjcp tiers, the lowest is AAATT or better beaten. Nice location for a small stakes friendly game, but if you're looking for action, I recommend the Golden Gates or Ameristar.
