Had been a regular for a long time. Was even a premium member. Started to learn that ownership showed extreme favoritism to people he liked, even over ones that were premium members ($2500 cost, mind you). Allows employees to break the rules when playing in the games (employee went south twice and when floor was called, floor talked to ownership and said "@#$% you" to whoever complained and allowed employee to go south.
I have seen ownership talk to dealers like they are dirt on the ground in front of customers, completely humiliating them. I feel bad for the dealers for putting up with this.
Last but not least, after organizing a game at Mad River, promoting it at other clubs, and getting the game successfully off for around a month, was completely disrespected after trying to fill a seat for a game at another club. Mind you this was a game that Mad River does not even run nor when they even have a cash game going.
There is no passion for poker at this club, only self interests being fulfilled. If you want to play at a club that doesn't care about you, go ahead and play here.
PS - I have always had a great experience with all the dealers and the floor. They are all amazing. It is dissapointing to see the @#$% they have to deal with.
