Poker players are quick to realize they're usually pretty low priority to the casino. It doesn't generate a ton of direct revenue, so we often go unheard.
Not at Sahara. It is evident the management team knows, loves and appreciates poker players. No expense was spared in the room design, comfort elements, amenities or staffing. This room has the biggest TV I've ever seen in any poker room, ever!
The comp rate is generous. The promotions look promising. The staff has assured me they're developing tournaments and promos that will celebrate Sahara's popular legacy but stay current and modern with what players want now.
I am excited about this new room! You can park just outside the door in the garage (free), walk right in to the room, bathrooms are feet away.. so is the cage. The only thing that would make this room a better asset to the strip would be if it had a few more tables. Seven is pretty limiting.
