Great little six-table room. And it's really a room. Everything is nice and new and ... orange. And the TVs are placed perfectly for sports viewing which was great for Monday Night Football.
Competition was about as tough as we faced in our four sessions over three days. Three pretty tough younger guys directly to my left made things a little difficult. But it was a usual mixture.
Two things stood out: used the players' names regularly and always made sure everyone knew about promotions going on. Everyone solid on mechanics and very friendly.
Afternoon service was very below par. She came by once every hour; we had to have the floorperson take our order and track her down. In the evening, it was more than fine.
Card room manager was playing Monday night. He lowered the rake to $3, brought in pizzas and generally made the night fun. Floor managers were personable and kept both games almost and going nicely.
Monday Night Football specials: free pizza, lowered rake and drawing for $100 after every quarter of the game. Plus free water and coffee in back of room. Also, high hand jackpots (wife rivered quad Jack's for $100 that made her night!)
