Played in the Monday night rebuy at the Horseshoe casino in Bossier City, La. At the break after 2 hours of play and 3 bullets, I had 150 chips left. The absolute worst 2 hours of cards I have ever gotten. I won 1 hand and only had one pocket pair(7s). I did the 5k chip add on at break to give me something to work with. From 8:45pm til 12:00am that 5k add on ballooned to over 100k as I ran hotter than ever before.
I turned a set of 5s to double up. Then I doubled up again with pocket As. I won again with pocket As and pocket Ks soon after. I limped in from the small blind with 8,6 against QJ. Flop was J 5 9. The turn was a 7 to give me a sneaky straight. The river was a Q and he pushed all in. I called and knocked him out. Biggest hand of the night is when I was 3 bet with KQ against KJ. I had around 38k. The flop was K 10 Q. He made a C bet of 6k and of course I called. The turn was a Q boating me up. He bet 8k and I shoved. He snap called with top pair and open ended straight. No K on river for chop and I doubled to nearly 80k. A few hands later I had Q 10. Flop was J 9 K rainbow lol. I won another nice pot. I rivered a flush to win another nice pot. The craziest hand was when I called an all in with pocket 9s against pocket Ks. Guy across from me says he folded Q 9. Did that matter?? Hell no because I caught the last 9 on the turn to make a set. I also called AJ with pockets Js all in and won that hand too.
Second time Ive won this tournament out of last 3 times played.
