Hello i am new to the tournament poker. I am trying to find out how i would go about entering just a small game or tournament. Are there any regulations? I know buy ins are all different of coarse. But can someone explain to me how it goes?? Do i have to be a registered player in a certain area? Say if i make a 300$ buy in is that the only expense i have at the table? Just trying to get some general info please?

Usually you have to pay for a monthly or yearly membership and or table time.
Depends if you are at a card room or a casino- in a casino, the 300$ buyin would be 100 percent of your expense. In card rooms, it varies.
