Does anyone know when this will happen? I heard this year but, haven't heard much lately. Online poker in California.

  1. From what I've read, there are a couple of bills pending in the California legislature, but the law hasn't even been voted on yet. It sounds like most of the Indian tribes and some of the big casinos in California (Commerce, the Bike) are on board with it, which should make passing it easier. But, given that the bill needs to pass and then have regulations drawn up, I'd say you'd be really lucky to have a site up by the end of the year.

  2. Seems like the odds of CA legalizing this year are about 40%, and if not then about 90% for next year. Once it legalizes, it will probably take another 6-12 months before any sites go live

  3. It can't happen soon enough, that's for sure. And hopefully they partner with NV and NJ too. (I know, I know, one step at a time lol)

I'm curious to know how many people here on poker atlas play online poker since this site has always been about live games. Do a lot of you play online also? I do

  4. Nope
