Planning a trip
So, I'm looking for a few good poker spots, steak houses, and some good music (jazz). I'm planning a Vegas outing. Anyone have recommendations?

Can't speak on the jazz but I like Voodoo at the Rio for the steak. It's at top of the Rio and the view is awesome. Steaks are very good and reasonably price for Vegas steakhouses.
@5150 How about good poker spots?
Try E-String Nightclub in Henderson or the Dispensary on E. Tropicana.
For Jazz music that is.
You looking to do a one-stop dinner/poker night or what? You could do Cut at Palazzo and then play at Venetian. Wynn has a great steakhouse and good poker too.
the best steak house on vegas is on Bally´s Steak House Restaurant !
Brooklyn Bowl is opening up a location at the Linq, check that out. Not exactly Jazz but awesome music and great food. Not sure what their poker options will be though, but hey its Vegas. Just taxi it to another room!
Wynn and Venetian are my favorites though Hard Rock can be fun too. Plus going to Binion's at worst to see it is a must. And by the way, I know 5150 and while has good taste in music he wouldn't know good poker if it hit him in the face.
I put up a review of the Hard Rock and had a blast. You won't have to leave the building!
I can't help with Jazz, but Mandalay has a fun little card room, and House of Blues is right there....I think they sometimes have Jazz bands. That would be my recommendation.
If i remember right, Morton's Steak House is a couple of blocks from the Strip on Flamingo and close to Caesar's Palace along with a bunch of places to play right there on the strip. As for the jazz, I'm sure someone will be outside playing a sax....
Capo's on Sahara is a really awesome restaurant -- it's like an old 1920s speakeasy. Food is excellent as well. It's on Sahara, just a few miles from the strip.
Harrah's is a good place to play and has a Ruth's Chris Steakhouse. No real jazz acts there persay but still some good acts you can hit there too.
Check out Artifice for the jazz club. Open every night.
Not what my wallet says, RWB. Oh, and those four bills I got from you the other night said hello and they like my house better.
