After reading about the different casinos/ poker rooms on this site, Aladdin is a nice place to play. Thank you very much for the reviews. I appreciate it very much.

First day arriving at Vegas, the guys and I hit up Aladdin Casino to play a 1-2 NL game. Bought in $60.(I don't have a large bank roll) 2 of my friends and I played for 1 hour or so. Very tight players, very tight. Didn't play much hands, only premium hands. Won a $100 pot when one of the players didn't catch his flush draw on the river. Thank GOD because my funds were limited. So I left the table up $40 because my other two friends lost their $60 due to bad beats. Right before we left, we decided to try our luck in the 10am Wednesday tourny. $40 buy in.

Wednesday morning while we waited to be seated, we saw all types of players. From what I saw, we were the youngest. I being 23 and the rest over 30+. Got 1500 in chips and thought I was going to be dead money.

Got some great cards the first hour big slicks 2 times, pocket Ks and so on. Tables were tight, bluffed a few hands before the flop. I had 5-2 off suit and bet 500 and stole the blinds a few times to build my stack. Saw over 4 players

To make a long story short, I went all in a few times, got lucky and won a few pots to stay alive. Looked around the room after 2 hours and saw that I was in the last 2 tables left. Made it to the final table. Had A6 un-suited with the blinds 3000-6000. Went all in with a person who had KJ suited. He got the flush on the river. Didn't mind because I thought I was dead money in the first half hour.

Top 9 gets paid. Over 140 players entered. I got in 6th, which won me $235. My friend got in first and won $1000.

I had a blast playing. Hopping to save up money and go again soon.
