I just got back home after a long 4 day weekend. Went there during UFC 100. What a great atmosphere while I was there. A lot of fans and just a great vibe.

Arrived on Thursday and stayed at PH for the weekend. Remember to do the $20 room upgrade trick. It really works. This the second time I've tried it and both worked.

I played in the Friday 10am $60 buy in tourny with around 45 players. It had that great Vegas vibe of players. From guys that were still drunk to guys that forgot what day it was, and one even forgot to check out their room because they were having a great time.

At the final table heads up with the big stack doubled my stack, I got 6-7 unsuited with the small blinds, I just call, he checks. Flop was 9,7, blank. I bet, he called. Turn was a 2. I bet again, he calls. River paired the board with another 9. 7-9-blank-2-9. I checked and he went all in, I know he didn't have a 9, so I called. He flips over 7-2 and I flipped over 6-7. My 6 kicker won the hand. Very lucky.

Final hand that won, was when I had the dealer button, got A-10 suited. He just flat calls which was very weird. I went all in thinking he had Ace rags, he flips over AK. I turned the 10 and won. The best part wasn't winning. He had over 10+ family members watching and rooting for him each hand and cheered when he won a pot. That was sweet when I got all the chips.

Played good, got good cards and reads. Players weren't the very best, but knew what they were doing. Played for 3 1/2 hours and got 1st place for $600+.

Next day on Saturday, me and 5 friends decided to play the 3pm tourny for $70 at Caesar's Palace. They had a great turnout, around 60 players. I was the chip stack leader in the first hour. A couple of high pockets didn't workout and lost when my 22 lost to a flush on the river. I hit trips on the flop. Overall, the Caesar's tourny was a great low limit buy in to play in.

One hand that was sick involved my brother. 19 players left with 9 getting paid. He had the dealer button, pushed all in when chip leader went all in on a early position raiser. Brother had AA, he had KK. Q 10 blank. 9 on the turn and a magical J on the river for the KK to win a straight. Suckout!!! He would of cruised to the final table if he won.
