With so many poker rooms to pick from I chose to go to the Orleans. I read about it in the local magazines and learned of daily tournamants. I went early and got into a 2/4 game. Most of the players were very patient with my novice mistakes and only a couple players were disturbed with the tourist players. Seems like the locals like this spot. Great warmup for the noon tournament. Big fun, players were serious but friendly, I lasted 3 rounds and got beat by pocket Aces. Wide open room, not smoky and attentative staff and waitress,s. I am returning in Jan. to play the Orleans.
