That being said,it is the Sahara, so its all
middle class folks about 60-40 locals to tourists
the dealers are a mix from great to horrible. the room is a decent size and not to hard to move around in. the tournment itself is good a mixed bag of player types as you would find elsewhere.A good solid player should be able to make the final table enough times to make it worth while.Usally 60-80 players at the 7-11 pm
tourney. the only thing that irks me in a big way
is the chips, they have no dollar amount on them.
so you have to remember what the colors are in each color up.
And if you play cash games there is only a 4$
comp issued to you for food and you have to ask the floorman for it.
Remember a bad fold is much better than a bad call....

  1. I played the 7pm tourney last trip, it was a decent play for the low buy-in. I've gotten used to having no denoms on the chips since most of our home tourneys are w/ no-denom chips, but it is nice having true T-chips

One thing that I didn't like was the brush was really voicing his displeasure w/ several dealers throughout the tourney. My table was right in front of the desk so it got to be very annoying, he really should have adressed his employees w/ a bit more discretion, IMO.

We're going again in two weeks so I'll give it another shot.

At least they have sandwiches at the break

Did you mean this the other way around? A bad call costs you the price of your call; a bad fold costs you the entire pot.
