The most ridiculous "casino" I ever played at.
The poker room is upstairs. Separate window for tournament buy-ins. But only one cashier for both cash and tournament purchases. Manual shuffle. Slow manual shuffle. Slow waitress. Singular. But the MOST AMAZING thing is you do the rebuy at the table. Dealer takes the cash, makes change, counts chips (while the rest of the table waiting), and puts the cash in the chips tray in front of him. How do they keep track of rebuys..? No one knows. From time to time, a floor manager comes up and takes some of the cash. Not all. Nobody sign anything, nobody writes anything down. Manager just PUTS MONEY IN HIS POCKET and walks away. I asked some of the regulars at my table, WTF?! to only get "oh, don't worry. They are pretty good here. "... also you must sign up for their card, for which they give you some free play on the slots. After I left the tournament (thank you, no rebuys for me, thank you) I figured let me go blow up my free pull. The dude at the main floor wouldn't let me in with my backpack. Normal laptop backpack, nothing like something suspicious. He said I must check it in with security, which instilled as much confidence as the tournament management did. So, I deposited my newly minted card in the trashcan and left.
Needless to say... I won't be back. June 2025
