I played in an $80 tournament with 40 players. We chopped 3 ways and each got $840. I requested a receipt after filling out a W-9 form which they gave me for winnings. I was told by Poker Room Mgr. they don't give out receipts. They called poker director. He told them that's a courtesy they don't provide. I talked to Casino Manager. He said they don't provide a receipt nor would they.
When I went to the cafe, restaurant, coffee shop they provide receipts, yet when you win and get taxed they won't provide receipts. I never had that happen before and won't go back again. Poker room is average at best.
