I’m still pretty new to poker, but I had a nice experience at the Newport Poker Room.
The players and staff were really kind and even helped explain things when I wasn’t sure, which made it a lot less intimidating for a beginner like me. The table felt quite tight — people were mostly playing strong hands — so I ended up losing in the end.
Still, it felt like a great place to just drop by and enjoy some casual poker when you have free time.
