I'm new to the local cards rooms but this place is clean the bathrooms are clean and the drink cooler is full. I played in the Saturday Free roll and had an awesome time! This being my first time in a tournament the staff answered all my questions help find my chair helped with my actions and forgave for my mistakes. I don't have the best eyes and some of the chips blend together but I learned my lesson when in doubt always ask the dealer. All of them were very patient and the floor staff was great also, seems like they see green poker players all the time. The players are very cool also most people may not mention that they are first time poker players in the tournament, but I knew if I admitted to such I might actually get some good action and sure did there were somewheres around 75 to 79 players and I made it all the way to one before the final table 11th or 10th Pl. Everyone was very forgiving when I made mistakes. And I made a lot of mistakes, acting out of turn folding out of turn bet out of turn folding when it was my turn, but I thought I saw a raise but two players chips mixed together, so I got a warning, even though I had made the call but folded, a lot of great lessons. I'm glad the staff dealt with me in a kind way but we're firm, the firmness is important because you never learn your lesson if someone doesn't chastise you. and they weren't rude by any means it's a very welcoming room. I was very surprised. I talked to a lot of players. I talked to the dealers. I talk to the Floor staff. The cage people the people at the front desk. It was great everybody very welcoming. Don't feel intimidated if you want to come to a friendly poker room and you're on the east side of Dallas come over to shuffle 214. I'm looking forward to my next go around. Free rolls everyday
