I would like to raise a concern regarding bomb pot enforcement in the Venetian Poker Room.
At a 9-handed table, the stated rule requires at least 6 players to agree before a bomb pot can be played. However, I have observed multiple instances where bomb pots were dealt with fewer than the required number of agreements. In some cases, when two or even three players were temporarily away from the table, the dealer stated that only four players were needed to proceed with a bomb pot.
Temporarily absent players should still count toward the table size, and their absence should not reduce the required number of players needed to agree. Running bomb pots under these conditions creates confusion and an unfair situation for players who do not wish to participate.
Additionally, when bomb pots are initiated, it is often not clearly explained that part of the mandatory $6 contribution includes a $1 dealer
tip, which many new players are unaware of.
I respectfully request that management review this practice and ensure bomb pots are only run when all rules are properly followed and clearly communicated to all players.
