Incredible spot! First timers get a few free hours and the staff was super accommodating to myself and my friend, who was a complete beginner. No rake and the time is affordable. Players were super active and it made for a profitable evening. Good security too.
Chris (who runs things) was kind as can be, and all the regulars were friendly. He sat and played with us, and when he caught me in a bad beat he even gave me the chips back from my last re-raise! Whenever I make it back to San Anton, I'll be playing here again.
