A person can certainly call in to ask about the size of the list and even get "put" on the list. However, this does not reserve your place in the list. It is only upon arrival on site, whether ten, thirty or 55 minutes later, that your place on the list is fixed. This basically means that calling in to get on the list is pointless. I have played in well over 100 different poker rooms and I recognize that each room is entitled to set their own call in policy if they even allow it at all. Many don't. I get that. But every room I have ever played except this one that allows callins, fixes your spot on the list at the time of the call, not upon arrival. You may lose your spot if you don't arrive on site within a certain time or if you're seat is called before you arrive. I get that too. But their call in policy is meaningless from my perspective. Other than that, it's a good well run small room that offers plenty of action. Just be prepared for a potentially long wait for a seat on Friday and Saturday.
