It's not a surprise this place keeps closing and re-opening. Same thing different management team this time around. Most of the positive reviews are likely from their friends trying to help but it's doing true disservice to people who want a good alternative to the Lodge in Round Rock. So much wasted potential on egos, poor management, and just a basic lack of understanding on how to run a poker room. Their pre-opening is supposed to leave something to be desired... but there's nothing. Might as well have stayed closed and just did a grand opening. Service is abysmal, dealers don't know what they're doing, owners just want a place to hang out with their rich friends. Games aren't good. Rules aren't known. Staff isn't trained. If you want a place to throw around money and teach them what to do, this is the place for you. Otherwise, I'd advise you to stay away. A complete waste of time. Just simply not good people - the new team.
