Outside of chasing a bracelet in June, I have no urge to visit Las Vegas to play poker. Champions Club is my first choice for tournaments, and it's much closer to home. They have fantastic tournament series once per quarter, and they sprinkle in 100k one-days in between.
The dealers are knowledgeable, friendly, and accurate. The floor staff is the best in the business. I've seen them talk an irate player down and bring him back to the table calmly instead of allowing the player to berate them or making a scene throwing them out. I feel safe both inside the building and out. Security is top notch.
They run a professional streaming table with top-notch production. The announcers don't talk over the players and the players are always full of gambol and having a good time.
Service is fast and friendly and the food is great. There are plenty of self-serve amenities if you need something last-second between breaks.
