Where do I start, first as an international visitor coming to the past home of the Aussie Millions, I thought I was headed to a legendary poker room.
No currency exchange for US dollars. 50 tables, NO, only about 30. Cash games, they don't even spread a 1/2 or 1/3. The 2/5 has a10% rake, capped at $25. What a joke on the tournament front only three tournaments. Mon/Wed/Sun. And the large tournament on Sunday for $500 plays with 20 minute blinds. WTF.
And table service was almost nonexistent, and five dollars for a Coke!
Any serious international poker player, would do well to just skip Melbourne.
I was seriously disappointed by the Crown Melbourne in so many ways.
