Worst poker room ever

I've played poker around the world and this was the WORST place I've ever played. I actually counted up this morning just how many poker rooms I've played in to put some perspective. it's 52 rooms, mostly in the US but also in the Caribbean and in multiple European countries. And yes, this was the worst. The room itself is small. There are 3 tables but the two times we went, only one table was open. They were about to have a "big" tournament soon, they said, which would be perhaps 30 people so apparently one cash game is usual. Blinds were 2-4 and most players bought in for between 80 and 200 dollars. There was a poker room manager, whio also rotated as a dealer along with one other dealer. The manager seemed competent and the other dealer barely so. He had trouble sometimes making change, for example. The tables were nice and the chairs were comfortable. It was the players themselves that were really awful. My husband and i appeared to be the only non-regulars. With the exception of one, the other players were erratic and hyper-aggressive, loose. They would bet, call or shove with absolutely anything at all, making it impossible to put anyone on anything at all. A few players like that at a table can make it interesting and fun, but 6 or 7 of them creates chaos. And chaos it was. Players were loud and obnoxious, screaming and cursing often. It was common to see one player show his cards to his neighbor, despite regular "show one, show all" rule being posted. I also saw something I've not seen before, which was a player several times reaching out to turn over an opponent's hand that had been mucked face down after the hand was over. Neither the dealer nor other players seemed to think that was an issue. Because shoving all in was so common. many players rebought multiple times so the game plays deeper as the night goes on. Regular preflop raises were anywhere from 16 to 100, but as i said, preflop shoves were relatively common. With only two players in a hand, players have the option to "run it twice" and after a while, i realized that the all-in move in the middle of the hand with the bet completely out of proportion to the pot size was evidently a strategy to get heads-up so they could run it twice. I was pushed out of several pots because i didn't want to risk 100 or 200 dollars for the 15 or 20 I'd invested in the pot. We love poker and have played many places but if we come back to Curacao, we wouldn't play here again, nor will we be going back the rest of the trip. And for poker afficionados like us who have played in some rooms with crazy play, that says a lot. Even if you like poker, or especially if you c like poker, i would ship this place because this plays more like bingo. But without the colorful daubers.
