Derby was bad before, now they are doing everything wrong! First of all, the rake keeps getting higher. I got a high hand back in July and the awful, imbecile dealer had my high hand voided, claiming that I nodded to my opponent trying to get $30 in the pot, the whole table hated her (table share), what a crock! If you play 1/3, you have to deal with scummy low-lifes who all they talk about is sports betting, going to jail and their miserable lives - not fun at all and very stressful. One loser who plays there almost every day (in his late 20s), goes out to his car and does drugs and vapes his brains out when he goes outside. There is another miserable 1/3 player, who is 90 years old and can hardly walk who plays there about 90 hours a week. I guess he plays there so much because he doesn't want to hang out at his trailer park. I have never seen such a miserable, evil, horrible person as this one. He harasses people telling them how they should spend their money and will scream and cuss at the TV for 40 minutes while watching his football game. My advice: if he is at your table, just leave. This is the type of people that play there!
To fund their silly renovation, bad beat jackpot and food & beverage points, they destroyed the high hand promotions! They used to have nice high hand promotion 6 days a week, now the only decent promo days are Friday and Saturday and they are now a lot weaker. They spent all this money to paint the building red and black and brought in some new furniture, also now they have this stupid bad beat jackpot where the minimum hand to lose with is 4 aces-that's a million to one shot, almost impossible! Now for their latest silly money making racket, they are bringing food trucks in during the weekend. Now the parking lot and building have all of these morons roaming around getting in our way and they don't even play poker. And when I was leaving someone was jump starting a car near mine and blocking me in when I wanted to leave. I am so sick of this place and I've played here for over 10 years and I'm thinking of quitting this horrible place forever. Management is terrible and they don't know how to run a business, they're horrible business people.
