Gin Mill is a professional, well run room that consistently has games running. It's close to the TTU campus, so there's regularly a crop of students wandering in to try their luck. Conversely, it means that there's not always an appetite for bigger games, or heavy action, which is a little unlike Texas - that may be a positive or a negative for you, if you like 1/2 capped or just a more tame, shortstacked game. No comps but they do occasionally offer a discount deal for buying hours in bulk, which is nice. The snack food on offer is alright - but it's also free. Dealing is generally competent, with infrequent issues that are promptly handled by the very experienced general manager - he's one of the best in the business.
