This is a very well run poker room. I would the class the management as "very professional" I would class the dealers as "very friendly" with a few that are at worst zombies suffering from burnout...none of which I have found to be rude. Free soda, juice coffee. Snack bar, buffet, steak house, sports bar, morning cafe on site. Large 1st Rate Hotel on site just under or over $100/night - book ahead on Saturday and some Fridays. There is a newly remodeled Motel 6 just down the road that has Pool, whirlpool and is clean with great room rates under $50 room rates with AAA. Poker Room points can be converted to use at the on site Gas Station, Food, Hotel Rooms.
I play this card room frequently & here is my assessment of the play.
Cash games run every day here. This is a 1/2 ($300 max buy-in) card room. The games play decent, a little on the tighter side, not super juicy, more of a "best hand generally wins" type of game. Not a lot of huge stacks on the tables generally. Mostly "basic, straight up" type of players who wouldn't generally intimidate a beginner and who should be considered beatable by advanced players. Always multiple tables going on Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays.
They have a juicy 2/5 PLO game on Friday afternoons with a signup list.
They have a great $90 Sunday Re-Buy Tournament that get 50-60 runners and 100ish buy-ins. I can't comment on the tournaments on other days as I have not played them.
The get 3/6 limit going sometimes on weekends. They also had a mixed cash game (holdem/plo8) you'd have to call the poker room for details on that.
This is a more conservative quieter poker room....more like your library than the trading floor at the stock market. A great way to end your evening after enjoying Wisconsin Dells the water-park capitol of the world.
