Lady Luck Casino Black Hawk

Spent a week in Denver for work and was looking for a casino hold em tourney to "kill time" one of the evenings. Planned on doing one at Golden Gates on a Tuesday night but they cancelled due to low entries. The cash games were pretty live (3 tables full) but I prefer something a little "less livlely" when I play cash games. So I walked next door to the Lady Luck and it was just the ticket!! The 1/2 spread game was filled with fish throwing their money around, 1 agrodonk and a couple of "ole time grinders". It was only one table that evening and we chased away 2 or 3 fish within 30 minutes. I doubled my $100 quickly and decided to head on as most of the fish were gone and I had a long drive back to the city. friendly little casino with quirky character. I liked it's small "homely" feel and felt the game was very accessible. If you want posh poker, go to golden gates.
