This place is the real deal and has good folks running it, no fluff. Dan, the Poker Room Manager, is the kind of guy you want in charge. He’s busting his tail to build something special here, bringing in mixed games like H.O.R.S.E. and doing everything he can to make the room thrive. I’ve got no problem driving two hours to play because it’s worth it.
The setup looks sharp, food’s solid, and once they expand into the rest of the building and get that hotel going, it’s gonna be a legit destination for poker players around Rochester and beyond.
Only gripe? The chairs. They’re not terrible, but for long sessions, they could definitely use an upgrade. Fix that, and this place is firing on all cylinders.
