Came for the 1st time today just to play a little $1-2 and get familiar with the place, staff and surroundings. I was pleasantly surprised to stumble into their monthly "freeroll" and $7/hr Veteran's hourly rate. The freeroll went as most do, with strings attached..$100 rebuys, $100 add-on and late registration. Red flag #1 no one could/would say how much the house is taking out of either. The dealers are fairly proficient but lack the empathy for new players. I want her in horror and one on particular snapped at a young lady that was obviously new to the game. Red flag #2 our server (they divide service by rows so you as a customer have no choice to whom you are serveres by) was high as a kite...my guess would be meth. Took my request with darting eyes and the memory of Dori. 2 hours later I still never got my sugar-free red bull or cup of ice. Red flag#3 time to pony up for more time, hand the chip runner a $20 and get back no change. Look at the receipt and I'm paying $10/hr. The final straw was the moment I player put $5 on the button, action cones around to me in the small blind and I look at him, he looks at me and I ask is he Ultimate last action? Yes. Well that changes everything with a cap of $300 buy-in. They've effectively made the game short stacked $2-5. With that realization that the game is crippled at 60bb I cash out after just paying for inflated time. Head to the cashier and immediately to the front desk to request a full refund for the unused time. Denied with the off handed statement it's ine membership agreement (that you never actually are produced a copy of) that they don't do refunds. Well @#$% you too!! Never again and strongly advise other to avoid at all cost.
