Situated in the heart of downtown Vancouver Parq casino is a beautiful new facility within the beautiful setting of one of the best cities in the world. Nevertheless the poker room is a major disappointment. The high rake structure at 15 dollars a hand is almost unbeatable. Most players are either oblivious to the rake or just don't care and that's fine if you have deep pockets and are there to just entertain yourself. In the long run you even if your an above average player with high win rates you still not be able to beat the rake. It's a slow death just like this poker room is going to die.. slowly after they suck all the money out of the poker economy at Parq.
