Not Again, Same Results- 6th place

Just came back from the Poker room on Dec 9th. Finally get to play in the new room since 2 years ago. Quality of the room is great. Chairs were comfortable and plenty of TVs for the Patriots and Steelers game. I sat in the last row, table 16 and still saw the TV from across the room.

Played here in the 2 pm $60 buy in tournament with 6 of my buddies from S.F. Total of 78 players and top 8 gets paid. Players at my table were semi average. People knew what they were doing. Some raised 8 times the big blind, not even worth seeing. A lot of folding and if you have something decent, very easy to take down a pot.

I think the blind structure was pretty long. 20 min each structure, with 4K in chips. It's nice to play and wait for cards, but I was so bored. Guess I am too use to 5 min blinds on Pokerstars. None of my 5 friends made it to the final table, but we each had a great time playing and next year, I will be back to PH for another one. Maybe even the 2 am one.

Had around 6 different dealers. I played a total of 3 1/2 hours. Got in 6th place for $235. Same exact place the last time I played. First place was $1K. Each dealer did a great job.

The waitresses came by many times and were quick. The room was pretty packed in the afternoon. 90% of the tables were being used. She came by with my water quickly and even got me two bottles. THANKS!

Nice and quick. Bought in with 6 guys in less than 5 min. Got our tables and everything was organized.

NO comps, only played the Sunday 2 pm tournament.

"Room"

The PH Poker room should be renamed a Poker Area instead. Poker at PH can be found in a roped off area of the casino... Read More
