Not Really a Room just a spot on the Floor all around slots. There is a sign that says poker Room but I think for a Room you need four walls. It was very cold in this "room" but I am usually Cold in Casinos. It was very loud because of the Slots around and playing at night with the pleasure pit so near made it even more loud. People we nice and I played with I wish they just had more away from the Table games and Pleasure Pit because of the Noise
I won on average of 300 for my 3 sessions at the Planet Hollywood poker table. I did lose a Buy in had to rebuy because of a bad beat I took but for the most part if you push your good hands you will get called and just hope your hands hold up. If you dont take any bad beats you will make money here. Beware players are not able to lay down so so hands and they call down very light just like I like it. I am by no means a great poker player at all. Just push good hands and fold bad ones and you will be fine.
One dealer caught my eye as good kinda a bigger guy named Junior he was the funniest and most professional dealer I had there. I noticed a few mistakes from some other dealers like exposed cards not paying attention to the action and have to ask who won the pot in order to push it to the winner and we even had to tell one to deal the Turn card since she was in space some where. There was also one who was dealing the 10 am tourny that I just got the vibe this was the last place he wanted to be.
once your order a drink it comes about 8 mins later even when the room was not that busy. I think there was only one waitress working the poker room at any given time. Since there was only one it took some work to get her attention also. She did deliver a coffee without the top on all the way and the drink spilled on the poker player when she went to take a drink. Lucky the coffee wasnt that hot ot else I am sure there would be lawsuit involved.
management was great always had a list going when needed and opened up new games when the list got enough people. Always welcomed new players to the game even the ones who first time it was on the poker table. I always liked to be paid in chips rather then cash when I leave and they paid me this way everytime no questions asked. My local casino sometimes tells me that I have to be paid in cash and buy chips at the table games. I didnt see anywhere they had to make a ruling so cant comment on any ruleings.
Comps here are just plain Blah...They have a High hand jackpot for quads fours or better I think...I am not to sure of a bad beat jackpot here...I played poker,Slots, Craps, Roullette and some more poker and logged it all on my New A list players card and ended up with about 37 cents worth of comps. They did give me a nice coupon book when I signed up for a players card that had a coupon for a free Hat from the poker room. I asked andthey gave it to me with no questions asked. Other than that no comps here.
