So if playing poker slowly is your thing, this is the place for you … there are no card shuffle machines being used and more than half the dealers take at least a minute to reshuffle the deck for the next hand. It is painfully slow compared to other poker rooms with card shufflers, which take less than 10 seconds to start dealing a new hand. Why they don’t invest in card shufflers is beyond me, the money made from the rake from tripling the # of hands dealt per hour will pay for the new machine in one day. It’s crazy to me that their shuffling by hand and dealing so slowly … there are also a lot of new dealers that you have to constantly babysit and make sure they are dealing correctly and making change correctly … it is definitely the place for you if you like things slow and strangely boring.
