Went to the Nash on a Friday night with a friend.
Don't eat at the bar - options were limited and the mushroom burger was really bad.
The poker room is in a big L shape with cage and restrooms nearby. While some posters complain about the noise of the gaming floor, it wasn't too bad. Several times, we had to call the floor to lower the house music, which - at times - became loud enough that we couldn't hear each other verbalize action.
Drink service was really bad... we were all lucky to get every other drink we ordered and service was unbearably slow.
The tables are just wrong. I had to stack my chips in the raceway against the felt to serve as a backstop. Otherwise, cards would land off felt or, worse, in the cup holders (which were empty more than they should've been due to the poor service). All of the shufflers are broken, too. So, prepare for a bit of a slower game.
FWIW - more than one of our dealers noted that new tables were coming.
Yes, the chips are wicked slippery and a bit on the lighter side. This became a problem when the dealer splashed the table with a stack of $1 chips while refilling the rack. Having to handle these chips on the solid surfaces race-way was annoying at best. I only saw one black $100 chip on the table all night long... I guess they love seeing the taller stacks with mountains of chips out in front.
Dealer change every 30 minutes meant frequent double board bomb pots. I guess that's becoming common now... These were fun... but, some of the more stacked/experienced players would sit out these hands... and, wouldn't necessarily come back right away. So, I felt these caused the table to play shorter than normal (not necessarily a bad thing).
The dealers were fine. Chip runners were fast. I suggest leaving 15 minutes before close... there was only one opening at the cage with 10-12 people in line to leave. It took about 15 minutes to cash out.
I could've done without the requisite "night club" business card stuck in my car window at 4am in the morning. It made me feel like parking lot security was a little lax. One of the five security personnel stationed inside the lobby could've at least been stationed outside the entrance so late at night.
Overall, the experience was just good enough that I'd go back... but, with the hope that Management will respond to the feedback to create a better experience.
