This is the nicest room in Vegas. Sofas to sit and wait on. Plasma TV's everywhere. Nice colours, tastefull decor. The vibe and the buzz is just not there like it is at the Bellagio.
Average play from average players. More regulars during the day, more conventioners at night. Not stereotyping anything but the usual play from the usual suspects. Lot's of regulars putting in hours for the free roll.
I noticed no mistakes while I was there. No outstanding personalities.
The best cocktails with very fast service. I played during a Sunday afternoon and a Wednesday night. Both times service was excellent. The drinks are top shelf. I cannot imagine a place beating this room for cocktails.
Nothing stood out. Competent and managed the list well. Not overly friendly but then again maybe I was not overly friendly.
Comps were good. Free roll for locals that is huge if they put in enough hours. Bad beat that costs the players nothing but is almost impossible to get 4 10's beat or something silly like that. Since it is free it was tough to complain. Some snacks seemed to appear from time to time but I did not eat anything. Two comp dollars an hour is also a good deal. Despite all this, this is still not in my top five places to play while in Vegas.
